warped tour 05 [Tuesday August 23rd, 2005 10:41pm] [ mood | content ] [ music | The Early November- The rooms too cold ] hey. im gonna write about the warped tour because i feel like i can write a lot about that so im gonna do it. lets see what i remember... Well we got there an hour before. We waited on line for like an hour and a half. it was soooo fucking hot. after waiting for what seemed like fucking forever we got in. we stopped and saw Fall Out Boy because they were like the only band playing at that time. we listened to like 3 or 4 songs then headed over to see MXPX!<3333 MXPX was fucking amazing. they had a great set too. they played a couple old songs and a lot of old ones. my favorites were "Punk Rawk Show" "Responsibility" "Next Best Thing" and "My Life Story" oh yea and "Chick Magnet" i used up alot of my energy while they played so i was like pooped. after Mxpx we waited like an hour or 2 and saw MCR. My Chemical Romance (M. Chem. Rom.) was ok i wish they played some more of there old shit. but i felt lousy so i just hung outside of the crowd. i used to like them a lot but im finding im not that into them anymore. i also so Mae play. Mae was awesome but i didnt really like their set. they played a lot of new songs which i dont know but off the old cd they played "Summertime" and "Soundtrack For Our Movie" which i really love. before Mae i saw a band called The Fight. they are from the UK they are pretty awesome. i just watched them because they were on the stage next to Mae and im glad i did listen to them because they are good.After Mae i saw Motion City Soundtrack. Motion City Soundtrack was also amazing. Some of they songs i liked that they played were of course "The Future Freaks Me Out" My Favorite Accident" and "Capital H" after them i saw the Dead 60's who were awesome! if you havent heard of them you should listen to them. if you like the clash you will love them. so after the Dead 60's i saw Senses Fail. Senses Fail was absolutely amazing i loved their whole set they started out with "Steven" and ended with "Rum is For Drinking Not Burning" it was a great way to end such a great day. i would have to say that MXPX and Senses Fail were my favorite. i got a Senses Fail hoody. and it was another amazing year at warped. Senses Fail is playing in Atlantic City with Saves The Day, The Early November, and Say Anything. i love all those bands so i cant wait to go! so that is the next thing im looking forward to. [Saturday July 16th, 2005 10:36am] [ mood | uncomfortable ] [ music | FFTL- dear diary, my teen angst has a bodycount ] hello! well let me tell you about yesterday. well i hung out with ashley, brian, nick, and natalie and it was cool cause i havent seen ashley in ages. then nick wanted to play hair stylist and i let him cut my hair. and now its a disaster. well i shouldnt say disaster because it could be worse but for a beginner he did an ok job. but i still kinda dont wanna go out in public with this hair. o well. i just hope it grows back fast.
